Building the Next Generation of Colorado Livestock Leaders
CLA staff traveled to Fort Collins this week to meet with students in the CSU Livestock Leaders Association, a club connected to the Livestock Business Management degree program.
These students are the first collegiate members of the dual membership in Colorado Livestock Association and the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association. As members, they can learn firsthand about the work being done in the regulatory and legislative arenas to protect Colorado’s farming and ranching families.
“We are proud to welcome these students as CLA members. Their passion for agriculture and willingness to step into leadership roles show that the future of our industry is in good hands. By investing in them today, we are strengthening the voice of Colorado’s farmers and ranchers for years to come,” said Travis Grant, CEO.
CLA is proud to work with these young leaders and help them grow. Together, we are building a strong future for Colorado agriculture. Stay tuned for more updates from this next-generation leadership program.
