SINE DIE! After 120 days, the 2024 Colorado Legislative Session officially concluded yesterday. Every other week, the CLA Legislative Affairs Committee members met to hear from legislators and CLA lobbyists about what was taking place at the Capitol and to take action on bills impacting farming and ranching families.
Thank you to the committee members, legislators, and CLA’s lobbying team that worked tirelessly to safeguard Colorado farming and ranching families who produce safe, affordable, and wholesome food for the world.

The Colorado Livestock Association tracked 35 bills (Opposed: 11, Amend: 5, Monitor: 15, Support: 1) during this session, ranging from water and wildlife to veterinary care and environmental practices. For a more in-depth look, head to our website at www.coloradolivestock.org/legislation.

CLA will host a webinar highlighting bills tracked, the theme of the session, and what the session’s outcomes might mean for agricultural producers in the state. Stay tuned for details!
